Television stations whose national broadcasting licenses were recently reissued by Serbia’s Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media (REM) - Pink, Happy, Prva and B92, violated the law 1430 times in the course of May 2022, so the REM requests that misdemeanor proceedings be initiated against them, Cenzolovka reported.
REM has filed requests for the launching of misdemeanor proceedings over violations of the Law on Advertising against four television stations that were recently reissued national broadcasting licenses – Pink, Happy, Prva and B92, said Cenzolovka.
According to the REM, these television stations violated the law a total of 1430 times in May this year, almost 50 times per day.
The REM said on its website that, in the course of May 2022, B92 TV violated the law 335 times, Prva 412 times, Happy TV 143 times while Pink TV is in the lead with 540 violations of the Law on Advertising in just one month.
