2023 Belgrade Pride titled “We’re Not Even Close”

Pride Week will be celebrated on September 4 to 10, while the Pride Parade will take place on September 9.

“The beginning of this year’s Pride campaign was marked by spraying graffiti on the Pride Info Center, whereby the activists of Belgrade Pride wanted to draw attention to the verbal and physical assaults they have been subject to. Given that the Pride Info Center has been vandalized 18 times, yet not a single perpetrator has been punished, this time, Belgrade Pride decided to pre-empt the hooligans,” the organizers said.

They added that the slogan “We’re Not Even Close” illustrates “the LGBTI+ movement’s fight for equality, dignity and love.”

“This year’s Pride Week, which will be held on September 4 to 10, will include a series of cultural, artistic and educational events, such as a theatre festival, exhibitions, panel debates, parties and community talks,” said the organizers.
