Belgrade Pride Week 2023, which will last until September 10, began Monday on the Victor Monument plateau at the Kalemegdan Fortress.
Belgrade Pride director Goran Miletic said that, unlike the previous years, this is not an optimistic moment.
“There are no positive changes with which we could announce the opening of this year’s Pride Week. There is nothing colorful. For the LGBT community the situation is much worse than in the past,” said Miletic.
The authorities show no interest in doing anything, in meeting any on our demands, he stressed.
