Kosovo President says he doesn’t fear indictment

“I have nothing to hide from the Special Court,” he said on Pristina’s TV 7 when asked if the Kosovo Specialist Chambers and Prosecutor’s Office would indict him.  

“I was not afraid during the war and I am not afraid now. I survived the war and I will survive this,” the Kosovo President said and added that he has not been interview by the court.   “We have no information on indictments. Everything so far has been speculation,” he said.

There has been speculation about a possible indictment before the new war crimes court against Thaci who was indicted by a court in Serbia over alleged crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
