Serbia’s Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said she has nothing more to say about the incident that led a Croatian parliamentary delegation to cut short its visit to Belgrade.

Brnabic told N1 that she has “no additional comment” on the demand by the Croatian government for Serbia to take a stand towards [ultra-nationalist politician and convicted war criminal Vojislav] Seselj and called the entire situation “increasingly bizarre”.

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic said earlier that he expects Serbia to sharply and clearly condemn the incident which Seselj and his Serbian Radical Party (SRS) said they caused.

The SRS issued a statement during the Croatian delegation’s visit claiming that its leader tore down and trampled on a Croatian flag and used offensive language to address members of the delegation. None of the reporters and media crews present in parliament at the time witnessed the alleged incident.
