Police stop all traffic to Hrtkovci from direction of Sabac

The day before the announced Serbian Radical Party (SRS) Leader Vojislav Seselj's arrival in Hrtkovci, the police closed off all roads to Hrtkovci from the direction of Sabac.

According to an N1 reporter, the police are stopping all vehicles in front of the bridge on river Sava, in Sabac and points them to alternative directions.

 The public company „Putevi Srbije“ reported that all traffic on the Platicevo – Jarak road, was suspended at the new Sabac bridge, due to the announced gathering in Hrtkovci.

“Putevi Srbije” state that the traffic will be suspended all day, until midnight, and that alternative routes are the roads to Obrenovac and Sremska Mitrovica.

The SRS Leader Vojislav Seselj announced on Sunday that members of this Party will gather in Hrtkovci on May 6th, the 26th anniversary of the party’s rally, after which the Croats ho lived in Vojvodina province in 1992 were forcefully displaced.

The police said that no gatherings in Hrtkovci will be allowed on May 6th.
