The natural gas storage facility in Banatski Dvor is being expanded and similar facilities are available for use in Hungary, she told reporters during a visit to the Serbian Oil Industry (NIS) Science and Technology Center in Novi Sad.
Existing facilities have the capacity to secure stable gas supplies, she said
Brnabic said that her government has “excellent communication” with the Russian gas supplier Gazprom, but added that the gas inter-connection with Bulgaria should be set up as soon as possible.
The government has not been considering any intervention following the rise in oil prices on the global market but it is following the situation, the Prime Minister said.
