Serbia’s President and Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic and Ana Brnabic met in Belgrade on Thursday with former US Secretary of State John Kerry and businessman Tim Collins.
A press release from the president’s cabinet said that they met at a working lunch and discussed preserving the peace and stability of the region and investments in the IT sector.
According to the press release, they agreed that an improved business environment is crucial to attracting American investments. Vucic and Brnabic said that Serbia would increase its investments in the IT sector, adding that it accounts for 9.2 percent of the country’s exports.
“Reinforcing the IT sector will speed up economic development and contribute significantly to raising the GDP growth rate,” the press release said.
