Serbian Justice ministry funding projects, minister says

The Serbian government has earmarked 445 million Dinars (around 3.8 million Euro) from bail and fines for health care, education and culture projects, including the purchase of state of the art medical equipment, Justice Minister Nela Kuburovic said on Friday.

Speaking at a ceremony for the selected projects, the minister said 1,336 projects applied for funding to the Justice Ministry, adding that 130 were selected.  

A total of 200 million Dinars (about 1.7 million Euro) was allocated for 25 health care projects, 100 million (about 800,000 Euro) for 23 social services projects, 65 million (about 550,000 Euro) for education projects, 26 million (about 220,000 Euro) for culture projects and 7 million Dinars (about 60,000 Euro) for projects involving the handicapped.
