Drivers in Novi Sad blocked a major intersection in the centre of the city on Monday morning, continuing the protest against high fuel prices.
The intersection at the Futoska market was blocked at 07:20 with some drivers choosing to bypass the stopped cars by driving around the stopped vehicles before the intersection was completely closed off.
The traffic police took pictures of the licence plates of the cars that were stopped in the intersection and warned the drivers that they would charged with a misdemeanour if they did not move the vehicles.
Traffic was also blocked on roads in Belgrade, Kragujevac, Mladenovac and other places.
