Stefanovic: Journalist Cvetkovic to come home

N1

Serbia’s Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said that the report on the case of a missing journalist Stefan Cvetkovic and his testimony were submitted to the Public Prosecutor, adding that Cvetkovic will be taken to his home, Sunday.

Speaking to the Radio Television of Serbia, Stefanovic said there were many incongruities in the whole case and in Cvetkovic’s statement. The polygraph test showed that his answers to several questions were incorrect.

Cvetkovic’s mother said that her son called her Sunday morning and that he will „come home (Sunday) night.“

Stefan Cvetkovic lives in Bela Crkva with his parents. His cell phone is still unavailable, and the journalist does not even respond to messages via social networks.

The Prosecution announced recently that Stefan Cvetkovic gave his statement on Friday night at the Criminal Police Directorate in Belgrade, as a „victim.“

The first results of the investigation into the disappearance of Stefan Cvetkovic will be known in three to four days.

This was confirmed by the Vrsac Prosecutor Tihomir Knezevic for N1, who explained that the findings and opinions of police and forensics experts are supposed to arrive in a few days.

Stefan Cvetkovic who went missing on Wednesday night was found alive and unhurt and was taken to a local police station in the northern town of Bela Crkva.
