Serbian Oil Industry decides on dividends, new board members

Serbian Oil Industry (NIS) shareholders decided on Thursday to pay out a total of 6,948,003,644 Dinar (about 59 million Euro) in dividends, or 42.61 Dinars (0.36 Euro) a share.

NIS said that this is the sixth year in a row that the company will pay out 25 percent of its net profits to shareholders. NIS reported net profits of 27.8 billion Dinars (235 million Euro) in 2017.

The shareholders’ assembly also named new members to its board of directors nominated by the majority shareholder Russia’s Gazpromneft and the state of Serbia which holds just under 30 percent of the shares in NIS.
