EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini met Sunday first in separate meetings and then in a trilateral meeting with Presidents of Serbia and Kosovo Aleksandar Vucic and Hashim Thaci, to discuss comprehensive normalisation of relations between the two countries.
According to Beta news agency, the European Union demands that official Pristina start without delay the process of formating the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM).
Reportedly, the Belgrade and Pristina delegations will also discuss the implementation of all deals in the Brussels agreement, including the energy sector and the deal on the Gazivode power plant in the north of Kosovo.

Unnamed diplomatic sources, who unveiled the information for Beta news agency, also pointed at a statement of Chairman of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) David McAllister, which allegedly reflects the standpoints of Germany and some other EU members states. MEP McAllister said during the AFET’s discussion on Serbia that “Serbia still invests efforts into the normalisation of relations with Kosovo” and that “both Kosovo and Serbia must work in a good faith and timely on the implementation of the agreements they reached.”
