Kosovo’s Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli said on Friday that his Serbia’s counterpart Ivica Dacic’s statement that Papua New Guinea had withdrawn its recognition of Pristina’s independence was “a forgery and fabrication”.
”Dacic has decided again to continue mudslinging in Kosovo,” Pacolli wrote on his Facebook profile.
He said that Serbia’s Foreign Minister had shown „a document that had been prepared for the alleged withdrawal of recognition, “ but, as he said, Kosovo had permanent contacts with all the countries in the world, including Papua New Guinea and that “in the following days, everything will be confirmed through diplomatic channels.”
Pristina and Belgrade are arguing whether Papua New Guinea, Liberia, Guinea Bissau and Ghana have revoked the recognition of the independence of former Serbia’s province or not.
