Tadic: Alliance for Serbia to unite conservative opposition

He emphasized that the only constructive solution would be regrouping in two politically compact lines, a civil, pro-European and conservative, anti-European, which would be cooperating and implementing common goals regarding the electoral conditions, control of elections and fundamental democratic principles.

“Toppling of (the President of Serbia) Vucic and his political fellows is not enough for establishing a civic, pro-European political model in Serbia. It is about the battle for development policy and system of values that is grounded on individual rights and freedoms, and not on the concept of patriarchal society,” said the opposition leader.

President of the Liberal-Democratic Party (LDP) Cedomir Jovanovic assessed that the Alliance for Serbia only affirms the political values that once destroyed Serbia and it represents a missed chance for Serbia to transform into a modern country.
