Since the beginning of the year, the Mining and Smelting Combine Bor has exported more than 17,000 tonnes of copper, which is 25 percent more than during the same period last year, the company said on Saturday.
The profits over the last seven months from these sales are worth USD 125 million, the company reported.
In July last year, 750 tonnes of copper were exported to China for the first time and the metal is being exported to Croatia, Turkey, Bulgaria and Germany as well.
The company also said it exported 2,6 tonnes of silver, worth USD 1,3 million, to Great Britain.
