European Commissioner Johannes Hahn on Monday refused to comment a possible Belgrade-Pristina agreement, saying that an agreement will take time.
Speaking at a meeting of Western Balkans heads of government in the Albanian town of Durres, Hahn said that it would not be appropriate for him to comment ongoing negotiations. “The next meeting (between Serbian President Aleksandar) Vucic and (Kosovo President Hashim) Thaci will not be the last but only one of a series. It takes time to reach a final agreement,” he said.
“I am encouraged by the constructive talks Vucic and Thaci. They reassured us that any bilateral agreement will be specific and tailor-made, not a precedent and a contribution to the region's peace, stability and the path to the European Union, the commissioner wrote earlier on his Twitter account.
