Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said on Monday that Belgrade is ready to normalize relations with Pristina and reach an agreement to secure stability.

A press release from her cabinet quoted Brnabic as telling visiting German MP Johann Wadephul that she is discouraged by the fact that Pristina still hasn’t met its obligations under the 2013 Brussels agreement.

Wadephul said that German is firm in its stand that implementation is more important than adopting agreements.

He said that Germanz strongly supports Serbia’s European integration and views the country as a reliable partner, the press release said.

In a separate meeting with Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic, Wadephul said that Serbia is an important element of regional stability and a constructive partner to the European Union. Germany encourages and support Serbia’s reforms as a contribution to the development of the region, he said.

Joksimovic said that Serbia has confirmed its pro-European determination which she believes should be validated with the opening of new negotiation chapters this year. Serbia is prepared to open four more chapters and will have negotiation positions ready for another two soon, she said.
