Serbian police arrest meat smugglers

It said that the police in Jagodina seized the meat and arrested six people suspected of smuggling it from Kosovo. The meat was bought in Kosovo, smuggled across the administrative boundary and sold for cash without a declaration of origin.  

The meat was trucked in by a driver, who is still at large, navigating roads with information from two of the arrested suspects to avoid the police.  

The meat was seized from the meat lockers of two companies.
