An ethnic Albanian man has been killed by a bomb in his mailbox in a village outside the Kosovo town of Djakovica, pristina media reported.
Prosecutors in Djakovica said that the explosive device was on the front door while reporters in the village of Smolica said that the device was in a mailbox. The man, Haxhi Ahmeti was killed instantly when he opened the mailbox.
Regional police commander Krist Xhokaj and prosecutor Ali Selimaj said that investigators are on the case but that there have been no arrests yet.
