A unique mobile phone application “Crime Stoppers” that has been in use for years in the world will be available to people in Serbia as of December, and a reward of a 1,000 US dollars waits for everyone whose anonymous tip leads to an arrest, the Beta news agency reported.

The agency cited the Politika daily report saying people should share any information or a photo with the respective institutions like the Interior Ministry (MUP) or the state security service BIA, while the money is provided by the US-based central office of the “Crime Stoppers.”

The daily has said anyone who sends information or a photo will immediately receive a return message and a “code” which will help in learning if the reward is compensated.
