Police in Greece have detained a man who jumped over the fence of Serbia’s Embassy in Athens on Saturday while carrying a knife, Greek media reported.

Serbia’s Ambassador to the country, Dusan Spasojevic, told N1 that nobody was injured.

According to CNN Greece, the perpetrator was drunk, and police managed to take away his knife and take him to the police station.

A police officer who was guarding the Embassy building reported the attack at 09:30 am. Greek media have reported that the individual is a Serbian national.
