Belgrade-Beijing flights discontinued

According to the Belgrade daily, the last Hainan flight on the line was on Monday.  

The management of Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla airport said that Hainan Airlines had officially informed the airport of the decision to discontinue the flights.

No reason was given but the probable reason is the small number of passengers traveling between the Serbian and Chinese capitals, the daily said.

Hainan Airlines decided to extend its Beijing-Prague line to Belgrade in 2017 and start flying on the new line twice a week on September 15.
