The Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo chief Marko Djuric that Pristina’s plan to blame Serbs for the killing of Kosovo Serb political leader Oliver Ivanovic had failed.
“Pristina’s entire plan to transfer the responsibility for the murder of Oliver Ivanovic to the Serbs has fallen apart and the only thing left for them is to mobilize the Serbs working directly for (Kosovo President) Hashim Thaci such as Slavisa Petkovic,” Djuric said on TV Prva.
Commenting the decision to resign by four Kosovo Serb mayors, Djuric said that Pristina wanted to “slip a noose around the necks of the Serbs and got a 100 percent dismemberment of its institutions instead”.
He said the Serbs in Kosovo are more united than ever, “speaking with one voice which says we do not accept discrimination and the violating of human rights”.
