Cyprus will warn Europe about possible catastrophe in Kosovo, Vucic says

Vucic told a joint news conference with Anastasiades in Nicosia he “asked (Cypriot President) for advice related to a grave situation in which Serbia finds itself without being responsible for that, but because of completely unclear Pristina’s decision to increase customs duties on goods from Serbia to 100 percent.”

“The whole of Europe condemned it, but there is no change in Pristina’s behaviour. They now seek new provocations, announce the forming of Kosovo’s army in violation of all agreements we reached and signed” (during the Belgrade – Pristina EU-facilitated dialogue), Vucic said.

Anastasiades reiterated his country respected Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and was helping Belgrade on its way to the EU.

Cyprus is one of five EU member states that have not recognised Kosovo’s independence. The other four are Romania, Spain, Slovakia and Greece.
