The Gazetaexpress portal reported that an unnamed war-time commander confirmed that he had received a summons but refused to say anything more.

A lawyer for Rustem Mustafa aka Remi, commander of a KLA operations zone and former MP, confirmed that his client was scheduled to appear at the Special Prosecutor’s office in the Hague in mid-January.

Gazetaexpress recalled that the Special Prosecutor summoned three KLA officers, including a former MP, for questioning.

The Kosovapress agency reported that the Special Prosecutor has already questioned Kosovo Albanian Astrit Shabani who is suspected of killing a Serb and two Roma who were taken prisoner and tortured before they disappeared. Shabani is in Kosovo’s Dubrava jail serving a 20 year sentence for killing four Roma and an Albanian.
