Alliance for Serbia Chairman Vuk Jeremic told reporters on Wednesday that none of the leaders of that opposition group would be part of the transitional government following the fall of the current authorities.

Jeremic, leader of the Popular Party, told a news conference that there are enough experts and honest people to form the transitional government which would be formed after Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic’s authorities fall from power.

“None of the Alliance for Serbia leaders would become prime minister or hold any ministerial posts. There are enough experts and honest people and it is up to us to create the conditions for them to take posts in that government,” Jeremic said, adding that it would be counterproductive to name possible candidates for the transitional government.

“We are all working towards one goal – the change of the bad system in Serbia and returning a normal situation to institutions, the media, schools, hospitals and the streets,” Jeremic said.
