Serbian journalist beaten during protest against mayor of Valjevo

N1 was told that Radio TV Valjevo journalist Marko Acimovic was beaten by several persons in the centre of the town.  

Acimovic was attacked by the as yet unidentified thugs in front of the town hall during a protest rally which demanded the resignation of the mayor.  

Video footage showed one of the protest organizers assaulting Acimovic.

The police said that they are investigating the attack.
