The 1 in 5 Million protests spread to the Vojvodina town of Zrenjanin for the first time on Thursday evening.
“This is the 47th town in Serbia which has joined the 1 in 5 Million protests,” journalist Srdjan Skoro told the protest gathering.
The crowd carried banners with anti-government slogans while they marched through the centre of Zrenjanin.
Protest organizers made a set of demands to the local and republic authorities including fair and democratic elections and the resignation of President Aleksandar Vucic.
