Serbia will be committed to peace and stability in future, but the halt in the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue on normalisation of relations could be overcome only if Kosovo annulled the “unreasonable” import taxes decision, President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday in a meeting with Russian envoy to Serbia, the Beta news agency reported.
Vucic told Alexander Chepurin that the visit by Russia’s President Vladimir Putin last month was “of great importance” for future development of the political dialogue and the economic cooperation between the two countries.
Vucic and Chepurin also discussed the situation in the region, Belgrade – Pristina relations, energy issues and stable gas supply to Serbia, the president’s office said in a statement.
It quoted Chepurin as saying the Belgrade – Moscow relations were on “high” bilateral level and that Russia showed a wish and intention to deepen the cooperation.
