Two people who made threats against Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic’s children have been arrested, an Internal Affairs Ministry official said on Monday.

Ministry State Secretary Biljana Popovic Ivkovic said that the police had arrested one person for threatening to hang the president’s son and another person making threats against his son and daugther.  

Belgrade media reported on Sunday that a person identified by the initials SM had threatened to hang the president’s son Danilo.  

The alleged threats were condemned by a number of ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) officials.
