Kosovo Serb deputy Prime Minister Dalibor Jevtic said on Friday that the time had come for a final agreement between Belgrade and Pristina to secure a lasting peace.
“If we look at the political circumstances and initiatives from the United States, the moment certainly is good. It’s better to reach an agreement now than to wait and face a far worse situation in terms of possible solutions,” Jevtic said.
He said that it’s important to discuss things that can help maintain links and cooperation between people with respect for their rights.
Asked if the boycott by the Serb List was successful, Jevtic said that a very clear message had been sent that “we do not want to be just decorations”.
