Police release minor who carried gallows at protest

The youth spent five days in jail before being released from the city’s Central Prison where his mother, lawyer and Srdjan Nogo MP were waiting for him.  

The young man’s lawyers told N1 that the authorities had not right to hold him in detention, adding that the decision was scandalous. They added that he hadn’t eaten in days, that he was living in fear while in jail.  

His mother sent a letter to President Aleksandar Vucic calling for his release. She later told N1 that she feared for her son’s safety.
