The Humanitarian Law Fund, Youth Initiative for Human Rights and Women in Black spread out a list of 941 names of Albanians killed in Kosovo during the war in 1999 whose bodies were found in four mass graves in Serbia proper. The activists wanted to draw attention to the fact that the truth about the killing of Albanian civilians is being hidden in Serbia.

According to UNMIK data, 744 bodies were found in the biggest of those mass graves in the Batajnica suburb. Women in Black leader Stasa Zajovic said they wanted to call the population and institutions to stop hiding the truth about the mass graves in Serbia and bring to justice everyone responsible.

Marko Milosavljevic of the Youth Initiative for Human Rights said that official Serbia makes no mention of Albanian victims and added that they wanted to draw attention to the secret mass graves in Batajnica, Perucac, Petrovo Selo and Rudnica. The mass graves were discovered after the fall of the Milosevic regime.
