US embassy calls Kosovo president to name election commission

An embassy statement expressed concern over the fact that the appointment of the 10 Commission members is running late and warned that this is the reason why more than 30 municipal assembly members and one MP can’t take their posts.

The Commission’s term in office expired more than a year ago and that body has been blocked since then with Thaci promising to appoint the members soon.
