The head of Serbia’s National Employment Service said on Thursday that there is an evident shortage of some professional profiles which employers are asking for.
Employment service Director Zoran Martinovic told the opening of the 12th Education and Employment Fair in Kragujevac that the education system needs to have better links with the economy.
He said that the greatest interest shown by both employers and job seekers is in self-employment programs and internships.
Some 30 employers are offering more than 300 jobs at the fair in various industries.
