Construction, Traffic and Infrastructure Minister Zorana Mihajlovic is reported to have met with Huawei company officials to discuss technology applicable on Serbia’s roads network.
A ministry press release quoted her as saying that innovative ideas using new technology would improve the lives of the population. “We want wi-fi networks on all of our highways and as many electricity chargers as possible to make travel on our road corridors comfortable and quality,” she said.
She also discussed possible cooperation on railways, the press release said.
Mihajlovic is part of a Serbian delegation which is attending the Belt and Road Forum in Beijing.
