An ad-hoc Kosovo Parliament Commission has prepared a resolution requesting Belgrade to "recognise a genocide" its forces allegedly committed during the 1998-1999 war in former Serbia's province, the state RTS television reported on Monday.

The resolution draft, as carried by Pristina's Koha Ditore daily, says Belgrade should cooperate in punishing the criminals and reimburse the damages.

The draft reportedly contains the facts about Serbia's crimes, legal basis and findings.

The daily says the documents are expected to be approved by the relevant Commission and sent to the Parliament for deliberation at one of the next plenary sessions.

Koha Ditore also reports that some former associates of the Institute for Investigating War Crimes say Pristina "has enough evidence to prove that Serbia committed genocide."
