Kosovo President Hashim Thaci said on Thursday that the Western Balkans summit in Berlin did not get the process of finding a solution for Belgrade-Pristina relations moving.
„The Berlin summit did not open or close any of the ideas or possibilities of reacing a final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia,“ he said.
Thaci said the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue has to end in mutual recognition and Kosovo‘s membership in the UN and added that the agreement has to preserve the multi-ethnic character of Kosovo as a state and a society and open the way to membership in NATO and the European Union.
He also expressed disappointment in what he said was insufficient engagement by Washington at the Berlin summit.
The Kosovo president said he would not allow Serbia to set conditions to continue the dialogue, adding that Pristina will not revoke the 100 percent tariffs on goods from Serbia.
