The President of North Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski described on Friday the idea about border changes between Serbia and Kosovo as appaling and outdated, not belonging to the 21st century, the Beta news agency reported.
Pendarovski said he could not imagine anything more frightening than to go into such a project and called on politicians to stop talking about it.
"That is a job for experts, journalists, but not for serious politicians because it is irresponsible to talk about such a ghastly idea about the exchange of people and territories in the 21st century. The last time something like that happened was in 1923, supported by great powers. Turkey and Greece still bear consequences after such exchange," Pendarovski said.
