A local Most TV published a video of the UN Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) member Mikhail Kranoshchekov's arrest during Kosovo special police ROSU unit's raid in the north earlier last week reportedly in an operation to fight organised crime, N1 reported.
The short footage of the arrest on May 29 was published late on Tuesday.
Kranoshchekov was released due to his immunity as a UN staff and was transferred to the Belgrade Military Hospital for treatment after suffering injuries during the apprehension.
Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic visited him at the hospital.
Moscow reacted bitterly saying the ROSU operation would have far-reaching consequences and demanded UNMIK to thoroughly investigate the incident, while Pristina claimed Kranoshchekov was a spy disguised as a UN employee and declared him persona non grata in Kosovo.
