Ombudsman: LGBT community in Serbia exposed to violence, doesn’t feel safe

Zoran Pasalic, Serbia’s Ombudsman, said on Wednesday, on the occasion of the International Day of Pride, that there was some progress in protecting the rights of the LGBT population in the country, but that they and those who advocated their rights, still did not feel safe, the Beta news agency reported.
