The Association of Kosovo Journalists (ANK) condemned on Friday threats N1 reporter Zana Cimili received on social networks in Serbian, the Beta news agency reported.

ANK called for dissociation with such a speech and “dangerous behaviour toward journalists.”

“All menace to them (journalists), especially call for violence against women are unacceptable. ANK expects the relevant institutions to find out who is behind those threats immediately,” ANK’s statements said, adding that “an insufficient and belated reaction” caused such cases to happen more often.
Zana Cimili received threats against herself and her family late on Thursday.

The Association of Serbia’s Journalists (UNS) also condemned the threats to N1 reporter and demanded an immediate investigation into the case.
