Vinci Airports wants to develop Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla airport and has the necessary experience and know-how, Vinci Airports Serbia CEO Francois Berisot told Serbian Minister of Traffic Zorana Mihajlovic on Wednesday.
“Our strategic goals are the same, we are here to make Nikola Tesla airport more operational and your support is very important to us,” he said.
Mihajlovic said the government and Vinci Airports are partners. “It’s in our mutual interest to meet the goals defined by the contract because this is a project of national interest for Serbia,” she said adding that the ministry will provide necessary support to help develop the airport and make Serbia a regional air traffic hub.
The government Vinci Airports signed a contract in March 2018 giving the French company a 25 year concession on Belgrade airport.
