Serbia’s military chief told Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti that he had received support from his Russian counterpart for “what we are doing about Kosovo”.
“We still consider it part of Serbian territory and Pristina’s unilateral steps are deteriorating the security situation. We are interested in the security of Serbs not just in northern Kosovo but in the entire province,” Army of Serbia chief of General Staff General Milan Mojsilovic said after his first official visit to Moscow.
Mojsilovic said that he had recevied confirmation during his meeting with Russian Chief of General Staff General Valeriy Gerasimov that Russia would continue providing support as Serbia’s strategic partners.
