The Italian police arrested and released a former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) trooper under a warrant issued by the Serbian authorities, the KoSSev portal reported on Thursday.
The media in Pristina said that KLA member Ejup Hoxha was arrested in Italy where he has been living for the past 15 years.
A member of the Hoxha family told the Indexonline portal that Ejup had been released after being questioned.
This is the second former KLA member who has been arrrested under warrants issued by the Serbian authorities. The first was Tomor Morina who was arrested in North Macedonia and is in jail pending a final extradition ruling.
