Known as Dragacevo Trumpet Festival, this event is being held for the 59th time in a small town of Guca in Western Serbia from Thursday till Sunday when the final competition in which 16 trumpet orchestras will take part, the Beta news agency reported.
Guca is some three hours drive from Belgrade, and the Festival started in October 1961.
The entry to the Festival, which started in October 1961, and place at the parking lot are free. According to organisers, ever since Guca appeared on the world festival map, up to million visitors from Serbia and abroad came there every August.
The musical part is accompanied by a book fair, a tourist fair and economy exhibition.
