
The Bureau for Social Research (BIRODI) on Friday published data on campaigning by Serbian officials during parliamentary and presidential elections which showed that Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) officials did more campaigning than their predecessors.
According to BIRODI figures, then Prime Minister and presidential candidate Aleksandar Vucic spent a total of eight hours and severn minutes campaigning on the Serbian state TV (RTS) and the Pink, Prva, O2, Happy and N1 TV stations prior to the 2017 presidential elections.
Those stations aired five hours and 54 minutes of Vucic’s activities prior to the 2016 parliamentary elections and 30 minutes of then Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic’s activities.
BIRODI‘s data shows that the RTS and state TV Vojvodina, Pink, B92, Prva and Studio B TV stations aired 29 minutes and 52 seconds of campaign activities by then Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic and one hour and 39 minutes of campaign activities by then Serbian President Boris Tadic prior to the parliamentary elections in 2012.
