SBB continues with making Serbia cleaner

After last week’s cleaning of central Serbia’s town and spa of Vrnjacka Banja, the Foundation of SBB, a socially responsible company, continued with its programme in South-western town of Novi Pazar on Friday, the company said in a statement.

The SBB Eko Team cleaned two parts of the town, the statement said, adding that the next place where they would clean a location is Trstenik, a town also in central Serbia.

In the last four years, SBB Foundation had cleaned 82 towns and organised a performance “Who is littering there?” for 25,000 children.

Besides, the Foundation distributed 40,000 ecological carriers, donated 21 playgrounds across Serbia, while in 2018 started the “Don’t litter, no excuse! CHALLENGE!” project in which 52,328 children from 614 schools had taken part so far.

The Foundation will continue its activities in raising the awareness of the environmental protection to make our country nicer and better place to live in, the company’s statement said.
