Kosovo Serb: Terrible things happen in election campaign

The owner of Mir (Peace) TV from northernmost Leposavic town in Kosovo Nenad Radosavljevic said that during the campaign ahead of the October 6 elections “really terrible things happen,” mentioning the case of a doctor who was fired after 36 years of work assumingly for participating at an opposition gathering,” N1 reported on Monday.

Radosavljevic added that there were "lots of such cases.”
Speaking about the campaign he said it looked as he thought it would and that why he decided not to take part in the race.
“I knew that it would be similar to what happened in 2013 when the sacks full of votes for Serb List were brought in. The Serb List (the Kosovo Serb party backed by Belgrade) suits the international community as the representative of the Serb people; it serves them as camouflage. Besides, it will help them to achieve all that has been decided a long time ago and at the very high level,” Radosavljevic said. He did not elaborate further.
Radosavljevic said that Dr Jelica Krcmarevic was fired while on vacation and that was assumed the reason was her presence at the opposition Independent Liberal Party (SLS) campaign rally.
He added the “Serb List victory is certain, as is their role – to follow what (Serbia’s President) Aleksandar Vucic decides and to implement his decisions without any question.”
“To make people deny what is happening even when they see it. That’s the road the Serb List will follow and which will lead us to something no one wants, contrary to what we have been thinking, planning, fighting 20 years for,” Radosavljevic said without explaining.
